Step 2 - Create your online profile

STEP 2 - Create your online profile on our secure portal

This step takes just 10-15 mins.

Our secure portal enables us to securely communicate and share information with each other throughout the entire financial planning process, with total privacy.

To proceed with the review, we need some basic information from you, which will take 10-15 minutes to upload to the secure portal. Once you receive our invitation you will need to upload:

- your name, address and date of birth
- your National Insurance (NI) number
- details of your current pension provider(s) and most importantly, the relevant account numbers

We also need you to complete an online attitude to risk questionnaire so we can understand your circumstances and risk profile in relation to your current investments.

Finally:

- Sign the “Authority Letters” electronically, when we email the request and then
- Confirm your ID using our online ID verification system.

We can provide phone and online support if you have any issues.

The “Authority Letters” allow us to obtain up to date information from each of your pension providers, so they are vital to the process. In order to prepare your pension or investment review we will need you to complete and sign one “Authority Letter” for each of your pension accounts.

Please be aware - we cannot obtain the information we require to prepare the report without the name of the provider (such as Aviva or Scottish Widows) and the pension account or reference number, so please make sure you upload this information to the secure portal or just give us a call.

The information we require will be on a pension statement. If you can’t find one then you can call your provider and ask for a statement to be sent out to you in the post.
